Birth
Founded in Chicago in 2003 as a search engine marketing (SEM) resource for other agencies, Resolution Media quickly built a reputation for delivering superior results through Pay-Per-Click Search Advertising (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We soon earned full-service SEM agency-of-record status with marketers such as The Tire Rack, Diamond Tour Golf and the Awards Network, all of whom we are honored to still call our clients today.

Omnicom
Our strong roots in agency integration came into play in 2005 when Resolution Media was acquired by Omnicom Media Group. In the following years, we collaborated closely with sister agencies like OMD and PHD to deliver seamless digital marketing solutions to some of the world’s leading brands including Lowe’s, Hertz, FedEx, Frito Lay, State Farm, Visa, Pier 1 Imports, HP, Showtime, Pepsi, Electrolux, and Vonage, among many others. To better service our clients on the coasts, we opened offices in New York and San Francisco.

Expansion
In recent years, Resolution Media has been at the forefront pushing the industry to expand the role of search beyond SEM. We recognize that the search query is a window into consumer intent and can inform so much more than just PPC and SEO programs. Accordingly, we have bolstered our offerings to include Web Conversion Optimization (WCO), Digital Behavior Analysis (DBA) and Mobile, Video and Social Media for clients like Sirius XM, Equity Residential, LeapFrog, Citibank Online, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Restaurant.com, and Briggs and Stratton.

Today
We currently operate as an innovative digital marketing agency powered by SEM insights. The Resolution Media Team has grown to over 100 employees and in 2009 we opened our newest office in Los Angeles.
